AeroInfo Appoints Chief Technical Architect

AeroInfo Systems, a leading provider of aviation-maintenance software solutions, announces the appointment of Mr. Duane Benatar to the newly created position of Chief Technical Architect. Duane will provide technical leadership and direction for software development and solution delivery programs, and AeroInfo’s new Solution Incubation and Innovation program. This program complements and supports AeroInfo’s long-established software development function.

Duane’s expertise includes strategic and operational technology planning, program governance and project management, organization change management, SOA and integration architectures, and developing architecture teams and competencies.

Duane is a senior IT professional with 15 years’ experience developing and executing successful IT strategies across Canada and the US. At IBM Global Services he was Senior Managing Technology & Strategy Consultant responsible for technology strategy, implementation roadmaps, organizational governance, and end-to-end solution delivery for high profile, complex enterprise solutions in Western Canada. One such client was a BC Crown Corporation where Duane was the program architect, leading a team of 14 architects on an enterprise-wide transformation program for an SOA-based integrated enterprise solution.
